Honolulu/Oahu

  1. Beer Lab HI
    • About the Space:
      • Modern, yet bare bones-ish taproom that has a nice laid back feel to it.
    • About the Beer:
      • They have some unique offerings that change up often, so I recommend getting a flight to try them all. I liked the Moo Stout Milk Stout and the Muisca IPA.
  2. The Brewseum:
    • About the Space:
      • Not a brewery, but probably one of the coolest craft beer bars I have ever been to. If you are in to military themed places (and even if you are not), they did a great job decorating this place with old WWII paraphernalia.
    • About the Beer:
      • They have several rotating taps of mostly local beers, so a great place to have a Hawaiian beer!
  3. Honolulu BeerWorks:
    • About the Space:
      • Warehouse like brewpub for the indoor seating, nice chill biergarten for the outside seating. Nice place to chill and have a beer!
    • About the Beer:
      • They have any kind of beer you would like to try, and all of them are great! I liked the Pia Mahi’ai Saison and the Hi-PA Hop Island IPA.
  4. Lanikai Brewing Company:
    • About the Space:
      • Technically not in Honolulu, but close enough that I’m including the brewery in this list. The place is basically just a tiny taproom connected to the brewery.
    • About the Beer:
      • They only offer tastings and beers to go
  5. Maui Brewing Company:
    • About the Space:
      • Airy, industrial feeling taproom that offers food.
    • About the Beer:
      • Some above average, no frills, tasty craft beer. Try the Coconut Hiwa Porter or the Hop Kine India Pale Lager.
  6. Waikiki Brewing Company:
    • About the Space:
      • They have great food and above average beer in a small, almost hole in the wall type place.
    • About the Beer:
      • Tons of styles to choose from, so get a flight to try them all. I enjoyed the Ala Moana Amber and the Eee Pah IPA.
