This area really has some quality craft beer options. Coupled with some great food and lots of things to do, this was one of my favorite places to visit of all time. Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance!

- Bierfabriek Amsterdam:
- About the Space:
- Really fun, large taproom with a wide array of food options. Good place to hang out with friends.
- About the Beer:
- Beer was average, and they only offered a few styles of beer. I thought the Nero Porter and Red IPA were decent.

- Nicely laid out brewpub in the small town near Zaanse Schans. They have some delicious sounding food and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
*Note: They are owned by a macro brewery, but this is still a nice place to visit when you’re already out at the windmills.

- About the Space:
- A bit outside the center of the city, but well worth the journey. Their taproom is huge and lots of fun. Plenty of games, seating inside and out, as well as some fantastic food.
- About the Beer:
- Some of the best beer I had while in Amsterdam, so put this place on top of your list. Try the Gaia IPA or the Munchies India Pale Lager.
